Aromatherapy Massage in Coventry, at Almond Tree Holistic Therapies Clinic, by a Qualified Massage Therapist.
Aromatherapy Massage combines a gentle relaxing massage with a bespoke blend of essential oils.
Essential oils are the concentrated, naturally occurring compounds found in plants. These compounds have distinctive properties which may be used to help improve mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well being.
The treatment begins with a brief consultation to discuss your medical history and the issues you would like to address. You are then invited to select up to three oils from a range which may be beneficial for your concerns. These are then blended with a suitable carrier oil in preparation for your massage.
The 75 minute body massage covers the back, legs, arms, neck, and shoulders, although you may omit any of these areas if you prefer. Using gentle, flowing movements, the treatment relaxes the body while encouraging the absorption of the oils through the skin.
Relaxing music and candles add to the tranquil atmosphere, and you may find yourself drifting off to sleep as the treatment progresses.
Following the massage, you are encouraged to relax and rest for a few minutes before being offered a refreshing drink and discussing aftercare advice.
If you like, you may choose to take your chosen blend of oils away with you, either as a bath oil, face cream or body lotion – there is a small additional charge for this service.
